I dug these out from my mother-in-law's UFO piles. Both she and her mother are enthusiastic knitters. Now plus me, we have a gang of three. The one I found are a pair of unfinished gloves only with thumbs left unknitted. With great pleasure, I finished them.

These gloves are her craft class homework when she was in primary school. They were graded 'good' by the teacher. The reasons that they were not 'excellent' are, according to my mother-in-law, they were not finished on time and, obviously, they are not a pair. Two left thumbs...I always thought it is only me making this kind of mistake. Guiltily, but I have to admit that the second I discovered the mistake, I was so exited and secretly feeling happy that I was not the only one. And it just makes it even more fun when it is your mother-in-law who knitted a pair of gloves with two left thumbs, isn't it, Anne? I feel we are becoming even closer. See, we make the same mistake. Do you also have a pair of gloves with one having a thumb sticking out right in the middle of the palm? :)
